Terms of Use

1. Age requirement and accounts

You must be 18 or older. Hobby Pulse is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account, subscribe, or otherwise use the Application. Hobby Pulse is not intended for, directed to, or to be used by children or anyone under 18. By creating an account or using the Application, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Adults may use Hobby Pulse to track cards that belong to family members, including children, but the account must be opened, owned, and used by the adult, who is responsible for all activity on it. Do not share your account with, or let it be used by, anyone under 18. You are responsible for any purchases, subscriptions, offers, messages, or other activity made through your account or device, including activity by a minor.

If we learn or reasonably believe that an account is held or used by someone under 18, we may suspend or delete the account and its data without notice. If you believe someone under 18 is using Hobby Pulse, contact us through Support.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Sign-in may use email and password, Google, or Apple. You may delete your account in the Application (Profile → Account on the web, or the matching mobile settings). Deletion removes your Hobby Pulse account and collection data as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Subscriptions

Hobby Pulse offers paid plans, currently Basic, Plus, and Premium. Features and prices are shown in the Application and may change. A free trial may be offered as described at signup or checkout; when a trial ends, the plan you selected bills unless you cancel.

Web subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Mobile subscriptions may be billed through Apple or Google Play when those storefronts are used. Taxes, receipts, and refunds for store purchases follow that store’s rules. Cancel a Stripe subscription in Hobby Pulse billing (or Stripe’s customer portal). Cancel an Apple or Google subscription in that store. Deleting your Hobby Pulse account cancels an active Stripe subscription we can see; it does not cancel an Apple or Google store subscription for you.

Changes to plans and pricing. We may add, change, or remove plans, plan tiers, features, usage limits, and prices at any time, including discontinuing a plan. If we raise the price of a paid subscription you already have, we will notify you by email or in the Application at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. The new price takes effect at the start of your first billing period that begins after that notice period, and it never changes a billing period you have already paid for. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before it takes effect; keeping your subscription after that point means you accept the new price. If we discontinue your plan, we will give you notice and the option to switch to another plan or cancel. Promotional, introductory, and trial pricing lasts only for the period stated in the offer. Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google Play follow that store’s process for price changes.

3. Use at your own risk

You use Hobby Pulse entirely at your own risk. The Application is for personal collection management and information only. Nothing in the Application is investment advice, financial advice, appraisal advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, trade, insure, or otherwise deal in any card, collectible, or other asset.

4. Card coverage and market data

Not every card is tracked. The Hobby Pulse catalog does not include every card ever produced, and not every card in the catalog has a market value. When there are not enough reliable recent sales for a card, or data for it is unavailable, the Application may show the card as untracked or show no value at all.

Data may not be current or correct. Market values, comps, price histories, trends, images, and catalog details come from third-party sources and our own calculations. They are refreshed on a schedule, not in real time, and may be delayed, incomplete, outdated, or wrong. We do not guarantee that any value or data in the Application is accurate, complete, or up to date. A value shown in the Application is an estimate. It is not an appraisal, a quote, or an offer to buy or sell, and a card may sell for significantly more or less.

Do your own research. Before you buy, sell, trade, grade, insure, or make any other decision about a card, do your own due diligence and confirm values and details with independent sources. See also sections 11 and 12.

5. Acceptable use

You must use the Application in a lawful way. You must not:

• try to break or overload the service;
• scrape or harvest other users’ data;
• upload malware;
• impersonate others;
• post or list stolen, counterfeit, or infringing items;
• use the Application to defraud anyone;
• interfere with other collectors’ use; or
• upload, post, display, or transmit prohibited content (see section 6).

6. Prohibited content

Profiles and collections on HobbyPulse can be public and shareable. Treat anything you upload or post as potentially public.

You must not upload, post, display, or transmit NSFW / adult sexual material, pornography, or sexually explicit images or text on HobbyPulse — including profile photos, card photos, notes, bios, messages, offers, public profile content, or any other upload.

You must not post hate speech, racial slurs, harassment, or threats. Child sexual exploitation is not allowed — zero tolerance. Illegal content is not allowed.

Some public usernames are not available. If a handle cannot be used, HobbyPulse shows it as already taken.

Enforcement. HobbyPulse / TechDoba may immediately remove content and/or suspend or terminate the account without prior notice for violations. We may also make the profile private or remove the public username if needed.

7. Your content and our IP

You keep ownership of photos, notes, and other content you upload. You grant TechDoba a limited license to host, process, and display that content so we can provide the Application (including sending photos or queries to processors such as CardHedger or Azure AI Vision when you use those features). Hobby Pulse’s name, design, software, and catalog presentation are owned by TechDoba or its licensors. You may not copy the product or use our marks without permission.

8. Connected marketplaces

You may connect eBay to draft or publish listings from your collection. If Shopify (or a similar store connection) is available on your account and you connect it, the same idea applies: we send the listing or store content needed for the feature you enabled. Those platforms have their own terms. You are responsible for listing accuracy, fees, fulfillment, and compliance there. Disconnecting Hobby Pulse does not remove listings already published on the marketplace.

9. Peer offers on public collections

Hobby Pulse may let collectors send structured offers on cards in public collections. An offer is a message that a buyer is interested at a stated price. Sellers may counter, accept, or decline. After an offer is accepted, the buyer may share a shipping address and the seller may share payment handles (Cash App, Venmo, and/or PayPal). Parties may also use an in-app notes thread. Hobby Pulse only connects two unverified parties. We do not guarantee funds, possession of the card, payment, or shipping. Settlement, taxes, and shipping stay the parties’ responsibility. Hobby Pulse is not responsible for any taxes that may or may not be owed.

10. No liability — TechDoba and related parties

Under no circumstances shall TechDoba, LLC, Hobby Pulse, or any owner, founder, director, officer, employee, contractor, agent, affiliate, partner, licensor, or any other person or entity behind TechDoba, LLC or the Application (collectively, the “TechDoba Parties”) be responsible or liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Application or any content, data, estimates, integrations, or features made available through it.

This includes, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost business opportunities; loss of goodwill; cost of substitute services; personal injury; property damage; and any claims related to buying, selling, trading, listing, shipping, insuring, grading, authenticating, storing, or otherwise handling collectibles or related transactions—whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or otherwise, even if a TechDoba Party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of the TechDoba Parties for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Application is limited to zero dollars (US $0) or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater.

11. Data, accuracy, and data loss

The TechDoba Parties are not responsible for:

• The accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any market values, comps, price histories, catalog data, images, grades, cert numbers, listings, or other information shown in or imported into the Application (including data from third parties such as CardHedger, eBay, graders, or other services);
• Any loss, corruption, deletion, unavailability, or unauthorized access to your data, photos, account, collections, or related content;
• Service interruptions, bugs, outages, or failures of the Application or any third-party service it relies on;
• Decisions you make based on information displayed in the Application.

You are solely responsible for backing up your own collection data and records of purchases, sales, and other transactions. Use the Application’s CSV export (and any other export tools we provide) to keep your own copy. Do not rely on Hobby Pulse as your only record of your collection.

12. Protect your cards and investments

Protect your cards and investments. Always perform your own due diligence on any and all transactions. Before buying, selling, trading, listing, shipping, or otherwise dealing in any card or collectible—including private-party sales, public listings, auctions, or marketplace integrations—you must independently verify authenticity, condition, grading, pricing, counterparty identity, payment terms, shipping, insurance, taxes, and all other material facts. The TechDoba Parties do not broker, guarantee, escrow, insure, or underwrite any transaction between you and any third party.

13. Other users — trust carefully

Hobby Pulse may let you interact with other collectors through public profiles, public collections, offers, messages, or similar features. Other users are not verified by TechDoba, LLC. Trust is earned and should be given out very carefully to other platform users. Do not assume that a profile, listing, offer, payment handle, or message is genuine. The TechDoba Parties are not responsible for the conduct, statements, or performance of any other user, or for any loss arising from your dealings with them.

14. Third-party services

The Application may integrate with or display data from third-party services (including CardHedger, Azure AI Vision, Stripe, SendGrid, Aidbase, Supabase, Google, Apple, eBay, and — when you connect it — Shopify). Those services are governed by their own terms. The TechDoba Parties are not responsible for third-party content, availability, pricing, policies, or actions.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE TECHDOBA PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DATA WILL BE ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR PRESERVED.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the TechDoba Parties from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Application, your content, your transactions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

17. Termination

You may stop using the Application and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Application. Sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) survive termination.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If a specific state’s law must apply, it is the state in which TechDoba, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in the United States have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

19. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The effective date and version above will be updated when Terms change. Changes to subscription prices follow the notice process in section 2.
